Update DNS Information

Complete the following steps to update your domain's DNS information. This is often due to a change of your hosting provider, or to enable the Advanced DNS Manager.

1. Log in to your profile.
2. Click Account Management > My Domains.
3. Click directly on the domain name that you wish to edit, or click the gear icon beside it.
4. Click DNS Information.
5. Make the necessary modifications to the DNS Information. If you are changing the DNS to a set of third party nameservers, be sure that you select the third radio button "Select Other DNS Information" and delete the old nameservers before placing the new nameservers in the entry fields that appear below. Do NOT enter the IP address. Click Update.

Result:

1. Your domain's DNS information has been changed.
2. It can take up to 24-48 hours for this information to propagate through the internet and reflect the changes.

Notes:

This is a non-critical update. The Administrative contact will receive a notification e-mail but is not required to confirm the changes.
